CALL OPEN: UserCentriCities Award 2023 - Deadline 21 April

The call for submissions for the UserCentriCities Award 2023 is now open!

Cities and regions are paving the way to deliver user-centric public services, an essential part of good digital government, but how does this look in practice? To raise awareness and recognise the efforts made by local administrations in developing truly user-centric services, putting people’s needs at the heart of design and delivery, UserCentriCities is convening its annual award.

This year, a high-level expert panel will deliver the award for the best user-centric service in European cities and regions in the framework of the 2023 UserCentriCities Summit in May in Brussels. More information about the jury and ceremony will follow shortly.

The call for submissions is open to local authorities (cities and regions) from all European Union Member States and European Free Trade Area (EFTA) countries (Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, Switzerland), Ukraine and the United Kingdom.

Applications must be submitted through the UserCentriCities services repository. To qualify for the award, services must already have been implemented in order to measure their impact. We encourage cities and regions with services at a design and development stage to submit them to the best practices repository to showcase their examples and serve as inspiration to others.

To learn more on how to apply, please see the call for submissions. The deadline for applications is 21 April 24h00 CET.

We encourage you to share your participation through social media and invite other cities and regions to apply. Download the social media kit.
