Smart Map - Gothenburg

City / Region

Gothenburg (Sweden)

In a nutshell

The city of Gothenburg created a circular economy map for the community in and around Sweden.
The Smart Map aims at making it easier for people to live more sustainably by encouraging community building, new meetings between citizens and access over ownership. The city does this by showcasing relevant initiatives and networks on an interactive online map. On the map you can, among other things, find bike kitchens, swap groups, clothing swap days, free shops and digital platforms. This is not the yellow pages or a list over businesses, this is about people and communities that share. What is included on the map is decided by defined criteria that have been agreed between the civic association Collaborative Economy Gothenburg and the City of Gothenburg, Consumer and Citizen Services Administration. Everybody can suggest a new item to be listed on the map. The selection of initiatives takes place in consultation between the editors locally. If you like to add an initiative please email to hej@smartakartan.se.
